Purdue head coach Sharon Versyp..."Kayana has been a player we’re excited about joining us for a long time. She’ll be able to follow in an outstanding line of defensive point guards that have suited up for Purdue, and wreak havoc in opposing backcourts." (Purdue SID, November 8, 2017)
Martinsville head coach Vince Cerbone...“She is our offensive leader in scoring. She always has had the ability to break defenders down and get to the basket but greatly improved her three-point shot and her post up game. She also does a great job of running the point. She also is an exceptional rebounder for a guard.” (Martinsville Reporter-Times, February 15, 2016)
Martinsville head coach Vince Cerbone...“Kayana’s game last year, really really athletic, one of the best in the country at getting to the basket and creating for teammates, just an unbelievable athlete. She’s really developed a mid-range and perimeter shooting game, and that’s something we look to continue to improve.” (Martinsville Reporter-Times, November 5, 2015)
Martinsville head coach Vince Cerbone..."Kayana Traylor is one of the best players in Indiana regardless of class. She is extremely quick, has excellent ball handling skills, can nail the three or slash to the basket. She also has outstanding court awareness and has the ability to make players around her better. She is one of those rare players that can achieve individual stardom yet be the ultimate team player. Kayana is an excellent athlete with a smooth style of play who will be one of the best players to ever come out of Martinsville High School." (Indiana Flight AAU, July 2015)
