The boys coaches for 1996 will be Mike Broughton, head coach, Jeffersonville; and assistant coaches Jim East, Merrillville, and Bob Heady, Carmel. Tickets for the games in Indianapolis are now on sale and may be purchased by calling 1-800-669-7827, ext. 9057 (outside Indianapolis) or 317-633-9057. Prices are $13, $11, $10, $8 and $7. Game times in Indianapolis Saturday, June 29 are 5 p.m. (girls) and 7:30 p.m. (boys). In Lexington, KY, the games will be played in Memorial Coliseum on the University of Kentucky campus Saturday, June 22. Game times are 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. (EST). The games in Kentucky will be telecast live from Lexington on stations in Indiana and Kentucky. (Consult your local TV listing for stations and times.) For tickets in Kentucky June 22 call 502-583-0564. The games in Indianapolis are played for charity, The Indianapolis Star Fund for the Blind. Last year's game in Indianapolis raised $100,308, bringing the all-time total from the Indiana games to $1,732,529. The Indiana teams will report to Indianapolis Sunday, June 16 and will stay at the Indianapolis Marriott Hotel June 16-20. The teams will leave for Lexington June 20 and return to camp Monday, June 24 for another week of preparation prior to the games at MSA June 29. The Indiana All-Star teams will play at least two exhibition games -- June 19 and 26 -- with the locations to be determined. The opposition for the boy All-Stars will be the first-ever Indiana Junior All-Stars selected by the boys Indiana Basketball Coaches Association coaches in conjunction with The Indianapolis Star.
