PLAYER BIO

A speedy guard that has developed a reputation for tight defensive pressure and very quick hands. Since her sophomore year in high school when the offense began to flow more through her, her shooting from the field remains above 50-percent, while you rarely see her take an ill-advised perimeter shot. She shoots 48-percent from the perimeter and can get herself loose from defenders to collapse interior defenses with her driving ability.

Malone made an oral commitment to Purdue on 11/17/04, and selected the Boilers over Illinois, Louisville, Kansas State, Indiana and Auburn. She is an excellent student that plans to major in premed. She signed with Purdue during the early signing period in November of 2005.
