Purdue head coach Sharon Versyp..."We’re thrilled about Cassidy’s technique and a keen eye for shooting. We think we got the best shooter in the country in this class, but she can do everything else. She’s really an exceptional passer, which is an incredible addition to a player who can knock it down the way she can." (Purdue SID, November 8, 2017)
Collegiate Girls Scouting Report scout Dan Olsen..."Off-guard with a confident offensive arsenal; system contributor executes off screens, reads the defense and delivers from deep; balanced floor attack with range that stretches the defense; a deep threat from downtown, among the nation's best elite shooters." (Collegiate Girls Report, July 2017)
Collegiate Girls Scouting Report scout Dan Olsen..."Off-guard with a scorer's mentality; consistent range to the arc, reads defender, utilizes screens with quick release on jumper; competes on both ends of the floor; creates with deceptive quickness." (Collegiate Girls Report, May 2015)
Scouting report by Blue Star's Mark Lewis..."Very intense...Focused on winning...Rare "pure" shooter...Very quick release...May determine her shot a little too soon (not unlike a guy named Curry in the NBA)...Not a great athlete...Intensity offsets on the defensive side of the ball enough to be adequate at a high level...Has the shot to be a commodity at any level...10-13 from deep in one game this summer." (Nike Nationals, August 10, 2015)
Scouting report by Premier Sports Group..."One of the elite shooters in the 2018 class. Shoots with NBA range. Has a big strong frame, and isn’t limited to just shooting. Can score inside. Has an offer from Purdue, BCS level shooter." (Lady Gym Rats Invitational, May 20, 2015)
