Fortunately, I’m not in charge because I completely missed the boat on this game. Purdue not only played the game at Baylor’s tempo (which is to say a fast tempo), they completely dominated them at their own game.

As I sat there in Conseco Fieldhouse last night watching the OT period of the Purdue – Illinois game, it occurred to me that the old saying that "you live by the sword, and you die by the sword" accurately described what happened to Purdue in this game.
