Of course, you are right and it was short sighted of me to say that nobody would want to go to Wisconsin to play. However, I still think that most players would have to think long and hard, if they had other alternatives. Even if they didn't get a scholarship to their #1 favorite place to go, I would think that a program with the kind of problems that Wisconsin has right now would not be many players' #2 choice if they didn't get an offer from their fave--especially since it appears that a coaching change is looming on the horizon in the not-too-distant future. Not next year, certainly--but unless things turn around drastically, it's going to happen sooner rather than later, and that's an unsettling thing for recruits. Look how recruiting got a lot harder for the Purdue men's program when it became obvious that GK was not going to be around, but nobody knew who the next coach would be. Some players will come anyway, for the school--but many more won't. Best of luck to your daughter--I hope she winds up in a place she loves. :)
