I think the point being debated was this:

"Dominating the opposition by that margin , at any level, is outstanding."

Well, ok. S. Dakota isn't really known as the athletic haven that other places/states are known. Clearly Ostarello is head-and-shoulders above the rest of the females in that state athletically (no pun intended). I wish she lived here in Indiana, because then she would have better competition ... which I think would make her into an even better athlete. But she doesn't.

Is he athletic? No doubt.

Is she as athletic as the most athletic females in Indiana? We won't know until she gets to Purdue.

Is she athletic enough to play the game of basketball at a high level? Shoot, she's probably more athletic than Steph White, Ukari Figgs, Katie Douglas or Kelly Komara ... so certainly.

Is she as athletic as some of the truly athletic players in women's basketball (like Candace Parker or Maya Moore)? We shall see. Now, I'm not saying that the original poster was stating that Ostarello was athletic as those two, but I think when people use the term "outstanding" in describing athleticism, then that is the sort of natural comparison that will be made.
