According to local reports the local Tippecanoe county cable provider,
Insight, sold their stake in the company to Comcast, which was to take
effect on January 1st, 2008.
Here's the problem....... High Speed Internet Access
Insight offers customers 10.0Mbps download speed for $45 /month.
Comcast offers customers 6.0Mbps download speed for $43 /month.
Comcast offers customers 8.0Mbps download speed for $53 /month.
It will be interesting to see what the "final" Comcast price will be
for Insight customers currently receiving 10.0Mbps download speed ?
Or will they be knocked down to the 6.0Mbps download speed for their
current $45 /month.
The one thing that I do know is that Comcast will do the right thing
for the customer. If Insight can manage to provide the 10.0 service,
you know that Comcast will NOT be able to manage at that price.
