Purdue played a less then spectacular first half, however they fortunately still led IPFW 35-34 at the half and finished them off about halfway through the 2nd half, by building a 21 point lead. Purdue's zone and full court presses seemed to be the deciding factor in this game, as they caused several turnovers in the 2nd half and forced IPFW to call 2 timeouts. Matt Kiefer and Chris Booker led the Boilers in scoring with 23 and 16 points respectively. Kiefer led the team with 5 rebounds and Parkinson had 5 assists. Purdue returns to action Sunday vs SMU at 3:30 PM. Delayed broadcast on WTTV ch 4 at 5 PM.
