Purdue's offense was not on early and the defense could not stop Minnesota in the 2nd half, as Minnesota pulled away for a 22 point victory. Deane was held to just 2 points and finished with 15 points. Rick Rickert had a season-high 26 points for Minnesota. Lowe was once again in foul trouble with 2 fouls in the first 5 minutes. In terms of Keady Ball points, Purdue played their worst game of the season (5 points lower than Xavier - 59). The 54 points was two lower than the 56 scored against the Globetrotters in Purdue's first exhibition game. We have followed up the game after each of our losses with a 86 or more points, so we should expect a good game @ Northwestern on Wednesday.
