I drove down Friday night to my apartment with my younger brother to attend the game on Saturday. I hoped I would not see any play like I saw on TV last Saturday. Fortunately, I did not, as we played our best half defensively this season (1st half) and we did pretty well offensively as well, with several breakaway layups/slams and nine 3-pointers. It was a great 1st half and the 2nd half after Lowe scored the first eight points for Purdue was kind of dull. We didn't play as well, but we were up 30+ points the entire 2nd half, so you can't really complain. Great game by everyone, Deane played great on defense Lowe and Teague had great shooting nights, Booker was efficient inside shooting 6-8 fgs, Buckley pulled down a game high eight rebounds, and Parkinson dished out 6 assists. Looking forward to the Colorado State game, even though I might be going to the ND-Vandy game, and will not be able to listen to it on the radio.
