Well, another loss to the Hoosiers is not what we were hoping for tonight, at least the team was competetive unlike the last two years. I thought we would pull it out when we held the lead throughout the 2nd half, but then we just could not stop them in the last 5 minutes of the game and the refs made sure to call a lot of fouls late in the game. I think they should have let the teams play more especially in the last 5 or so minutes. I am happy at the effort. I think Kiefer should have played more as he came in and had some good rebounds including 2 on the offensive side, but was only in the game for 10 minutes mostly in the 1st half. Teague played 16 minutes and Buckley only 6, I also thought we should have tried going with him more since Kilgore was having a bad shooting night and at least Buckley could have provided more rebounding. Let's hope we can finish the non-conference at 9-2 and then get ready for the Big 10 season. I think we will beat the Hoosiers at Mackey and I will do my part to make it happen from the 2nd row of the Gene Pool. Ah, it's great to be right by the visiting team's bench. We played well tonight, but two Keady Ball stats show why we lost and scored only a 73. Rebounding and FG%, just plain horrible. Hope we can get the rebounding fixed at least. Maybe it was just an off shooting night.
