The first 10-12 minutes of the first half did not look good, but we took control in the last 8 minutes or so of the half and never looked back. The 2nd half was a different story, we looked good from start to finish and stretched the lead from 11 points at halftime to the final difference of 29 points. The 3 freshman Teague, Kiefer, and Buckley all had good games combining for 26 points. Buckley had the play of a game on a reverse layup and Kiefer led the team in rebounds and assists for the 2nd straight game. Teague had several nice moves to the basket, but couldn't convert on several of his shots. Lowe and Deane paced the way with 16 and 15 points respectively, as they both also shot over 50% from the field. The championship game vs San Diego should be a good one as they have beaten UCLA and have several big players including 2 at 6'10+. I will not be posting a link for the +/- in each of my columns, however it may not be updated for that game yet, but I will uploaded the file as soon as Dave sends it to me.
