Well, it was a great night of basketball, Purdue came out great on the defensive side of the ball, but had a little trouble on offense in the first half. Kilgore was not suited up and had a cast on his arm, I asked a manager and he told me that he had broke it in practice. McKnight shut down Chet (chester - gene pool nickname for him) Mason to 6 points, well below his exhibition average of 29. We had balanced scoring with 5 players in double figures and 9 players played more than 10 minutes. Kiefer earned the hustle award tonight diving on the floor for a loose ball, all of the Purdue players came over to help him up. We look so much better when we can play our best player 20-25 minutes and keep everyone fresh, the freshman all played well and Booker was great inside. I am looking forward to seeing the game Saturday against Louisville (Thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Ed Molnar for the tickets), as I feel we have a great chance to beat them.
Below is the attendance and Keady Ball Points for tonight.
