PURDUE WOMENS BASKETBALL:
Who wants to be a Boiler-ionaire?

With the 2002-03 Purdue team having gotten off to a 2-0 start, the time seemed right for me to debut as an Old Gold Free Press columnist by creating a little quiz which will test the reader’s knowledge of the program. Although I have attempted to arrange the questions in order of ascending difficulty, there are a few ways in which this exercise will fall short of replicating the “Millionaire” experience. Not only does this site’s lack of “bells and whistles” prevent me from providing the lifelines Regis’s and Meredith’s guests enjoy, but financial realities militate against the awarding of actual cash to contestants.

Although I obviously know the answers (all of which can be found in the current Purdue Basketball Information Guide), I’ve decided to withhold them for a week or so. If you really can’t wait that long, send your responses to my e-mail address, and I’ll let you know how you did.
