Detroit Community currently sits as the No. 7 team in the Detroit News "Super Ten" poll regardless of class, and ranks No. 2 in Michigan Class C. On the season, Community's record is at 10-1, with their only loss coming at the hands of No. 1 Class A Auburn Hills Avondale.

Here is a rundown of the action over the past month, with the most recent games first.

Detroit Community 48, Detroit Country Day 34 -- Detroit Community defeated Detroit Country Day (9-2) 48-34, a team ranked No. 1 in Class B and No. 2 in the Detroit News "Super Ten" poll. Country Day featured one of the state's top sophomores in Amber Moore, a 5'10 scorer. But it has been the development of 6'0 Nya Jordan of Community that has helped Community avoid defensive triple-teams on Lakeisha Mosley. Against Country Day, Jordan has a double-double of 10 points and 12 rebounds, while Mosley finished with 12 points and eight rebounds. Moore led Country Day with 10 points.

Detroit Community 57, Detroit Old Redford Academy 18 -- Mosley led Community with 15 points.

Detroit Community 63, Academy of Michigan 8 -- Mosley had 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Detroit Community 58, Redford Covenant 10 -- Mosley scored 12 points and 10 rebounds for 6-1 Community.

Auburn Hills Avondale 56, Detroit Community 39 -- The battle of No. 1 and No. 2 turned out to be a lopsided victory for No. 2 Avondale at Detroit Community. Less than a week from taking the No. 1 spot away from then-No. 1 Saginaw Arthur Hill on the road, Community came home to a 2-3 zone defense that packed the defense around the interior and made life difficult for leading scorer Mosley. Mosley only had four shot attempts in the first half, while Avondale ran out to a 31-15 lead. Avondale set out to shut down Mosley, and the plan worked well, holding her to 10 shots in the game and 10 points. Six of Mosley's points came from the freethrow line, where she shot 6-of-10. Mosley also had seven rebounds. Keshia Hines of Avondale had 13 points, 15 rebounds and five assists to lead Avondale.

Detroit Community 50, Saginaw Arthur Hill 32 -- Keisha Mosley had 23 points and 16 boards as Community (5-0) defeated No. 1 Saginaw Arthur Hill (5-1).

Detroit Community 51, Ypsilanti 21 -- LaKeisha Mosley had game-highs of 14 points and 14 rebounds.
