Michelle Clark, a 5'7 point guard from Oaks Christian in Westlake Village, CA has given Purdue coach Sharon Versyp a verbal commitment following an early-week unofficial visit. Clark joins Michigan forward Lakeisha Mosley as Purdue's second commitment for the class of 2007.

Clark averaged 17.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 3.5 steals per game during her junior year while shooting 48-percent from the floor (128-of-264), 33-percent from the perimeter (77-of-236) and 69-percent from the freethrow line (49-of-71). She had a season-high 31 points in a February win over Calvary Chapel. Against 4-time CIF 4AA champion Marlborough, Clark had a game-high 23 points.

Clark is a two-time League MVP, and was honored as the CIF Division 4AA Player-or-the-Year along side Abi Olajuwon in 2006.

She averaged 16 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 2.1 steals as sophomore.

Colorado, Stanford, Texas Christian, Harvard, Pepperdine, Duke, Dartmouth and San Diego State were all showing interest.
