Hoop Scoop rates him the nation’s 24th best fifth-year player.
In high school at Gateway High in Kissimmee (FL), Grant was the first three-time Osceola Conference Player of the Year, averaging 24.2 points as a senior. he averaged 22.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists as a junior.
Grant chose Purdue over Washington, Boston College and Tennessee. Grant signed with Missouri last year, but did not qualify academically and took the prep school route. He originally chose Missouri over attention from Penn State, Tennessee, South Florida and Georgia Tech.
