Curry speaks on the signeesPurdue head coach Kristy Curry, with letters-of-intent in hand for each, praised her all Indiana class, rated as the nation's No. 3 class by Blue Star. Here is what she had to say on each player. Her quotes have been added to each player's OGFP profile under "scouting reports".
On Amber Harris -- "Amber is a talent. She is exciting to watch. She has unbelievable athleticism and can play a variety of positions despite her 6-5 frame. For her size and her age she can do things that no female has ever done around the rim. She is used to winning championships, and I know she expects that to continue at Purdue."
On Dee Dee Jernigan -- "Dee Dee is an explosive, versatile athlete who can play anywhere on the perimeter. She has tremendous quickness and the ability to break down a defense off the dribble and get to the rim. She can score in so many different ways, and she also is a great defender and rebounder. She and FahKara complement each other well and should make a special backcourt."
On FahKara Malone -- "FahKara is a high-energy, hard-working player who is a terrific scorer and defender. She is the consummate floor general and the kind of young lady who others will follow. She will be a tremendous leader for our program both on and off the court."
The player profiles can be accessed through the Women's Basketball Recruiting page.

Ramblings
"When you look at Dee Dee's eyes during a game, it's just amazing the way she sees the floor and thinks the game. Most kids can't do what she does. She is so hard to prepare for, so hard to defend, because she does things no one else can do." -- Lake Central coach Tom Megyesi on Dee Dee Jernigan, who coached former Purdue guard Kelly Komara.
