The perimeter was not kind to Jodi Howell on Saturday, as the Indiana All-Stars fell to their Kentucky rivals, 72-67 in Bowling Green, KY. Howell finished with 15 points on 5-of-11 shooting, all six of her misses were from the perimeter. Jodi did make 2-of-8 from long range, and also hit all three of her freethrows.
Indiana was led by Kahla Roudebush's 19 points. Kentucky's Miss Basketball Carly Ormerod led the victors with 23.
Kentucky led by as many as 15 points in the second half, a lead Indiana took back with three minutes remaining. But solid Kentucky defense on Roudebush as the clock ticked down sealed Indiana's fate.
Indiana leads the series overall, 29-28. Kentucky seeks to tie that record when the All-Stars face off in Conseco Fieldhouse next Saturday.
