Howard Little likes PurdueRich Central (IL) 6'4 junior shooting guard Howard Little recently said he was looking at local programs such as Purdue, Illinois, Northwestern and Wisconsin for college. Little's game is balanced, and he does most things, from rebounding to playing defense to working hard on the court, well.
Little played his first two years at Crete-Monee (IL), then transferred for his junior season to Rich Central. Rich Central was stopped by Lincoln-Way East in an overtime game in the Illinois Class AA Regional semifinals.
Detroit area guard junior Leon Freeman
Matt Painter looks to have made an impression on one of the top junior guards in the state of Michigan. Belleville's Leon Freeman, a versatile 6'4 wing, has a huge list of suitors that includes Purdue, Michigan State, Illinois, Ohio State, Indiana, Valparaiso, Connecticut and others.
Freeman averaged 17.5 points, 12.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.5 steals and 2.0 blocks a game as Belleville went 21-2.
According to Belleville head coach Mike Krogel, in an interview in the Detroit Free Press -- "He can shoot the three and take someone off the dribble. Defensively, he has the quickness to guard the small guys and he's strong enough to guard the big guys. We've had him on 6-7, 6-8 guys this season and at other times on a 6-1 guard."

DeAndre Coleman followed up a weekend visit to Cincinnati with a commitment to the Bearcats, choosing them over offers from Purdue, West Virginia, Tulane and Toledo. Coleman, a 6'7 wing forward from Dekalb, Ga., averaged 20 points and nine rebounds as a senior.
