Two more Big Ten commitments

Senior small forward Christine Spencer from Traverse City (MI) has verbally committed to the University of Wisconsin. The 6'1 Spencer, who plays mostly center for her high school team, was averaging 25 points, 11.2 rebounds, 3.7 steals, 3.4 blocks and 2.3 assists thorugh 12 games this season.

Illinois also received a commitment from a senior forward, adding 5'11 Chelsea Gordon From Erie (PA). Gordon is the second commitment Illinois received from Pennsylvania from the Class of 2005. Gordon plays for Mercyhurst, a team that also features 2005 Penn State recruit Mashea Williams.

Gordon averaged 13.4 points per game as a junior, and was named AAAA all-state first team by the Associated Press.
