On Wednesday, Southfield-Lathrup defeated Troy Athens, 69-29. Both Williams and Hughes shared game-high honors with 17 points. Hughes added seven rebounds, eight assists and five steals. Williams had another double-double performance adding 12 rebounds to her 17 points.
Friday extended their record to 15-1 with a 68-44 win over Rochester. Both Hughes and Williams hit for double-doubles. Hughes finished with 18 points and 10 assists, while Williams had 15 points and 15 boards.
