Danielle Campbell update
Danielle Campbell will be on the campus of Purdue this weekend for an official visit, but will she listen if Notre Dame comes calling again? She was scheduled to visit Notre Dame earlier this month, but Irish head coach Muffet McGraw withdrew the invitation when the Irish received a verbal from 6'4 post Demetress Adams. Adams committed to Notre Dame on September 15, but changed her commitment to South Carolina last week, leaving McGraw empty handed with no replacements scheduled to visit.

According to preseason rankings by scout Rick Bolus, Christian County High (KY) junior Arnika Brown is ranked as the top female player in Kentucky. Brown, a 6'0 forward, averaged 18 points and seven boards as a sophomore, and is attracting attention from everyone, but has been reportedly considering Purdue among a list that also includes Cincinnati, Florida, Connecticut, Tennessee, Kentucky, Maryland and others. She plans to take a first cut at her list before the season begins.
