The 2004 version of the Junior All-Star team has been announced, featuring Purdue basketball commit Jodi Howell, volleyball commit Stephanie Lynch and target Cassie Kerns. Plus a few others who have also been scouted by the coaching staff.The "core" team is a six-player squad that will play in both exhibition scrimmages against the Senior Stars. The Junior Stars will scrimmage the Senior Stars twice, June 16th and June 23rd, and will be teamed with an additional six juniors (North and South squads) for each of the two games.
Plainfield's Curt Benge will be the coach for the 2004 Junior All-Stars. He'll be assisted by Dori Downing of Calumet and George Wooten of Turkey Run.
The sites for the scrimmages have yet to be determined.
