PURDUE WOMENS BASKETBALL RECRUITING:
OGFP Girls Prep Report

    2005: Danielle Campbell

The absence of Lindsay Schrader made No. 12 Whitney Young's job a little easier against No. 13 Bartlett. 6'4 center Danielle Campbell led all scorers with 26 points in the 53-41 home victory. Whitney Young has a record of 15-6 on the season.

    2005: Lindsay Schrader

Speaking of Lindsay Schrader, it was a good sign she will be back on the court soon as she did dress for the Whitney Young game. She has been on the sidelines since landing in the hospital with internal bleeding, thought to have been suffered during a game.

    2005: Morgan Clyburn

Seven points to go along with 18 rebounds and nine blocked shots was Clyburn's contribution to a 46-37 win over Livingston on Tuesday. On Saturday, similar results. Six points. 13 rebounds. 10 blocked shots. As defenses blanket Morgan Clyburn to stop her offensive dominance in the paint, the rest of the Oak Ridge team has risen to the challenge of replacing her scoring.

If team's do not blanket Clyburn, they get what Huntsville High got from her a week ago. Clyburn was 2-of-2 from the perimeter, scoring 18 points, 17 rebounds and eight blocked shots.

    2005: Kirsten Thompson

Monroe continues to roll, currently at 16-1 on the season after two more wins this week. Thompson led all scorers with 24 points in a 89-46 beating of Cascade.

Two days earlier, Thompson tallied 11 points, nine boards and four blocks in a 57-37 win over Lake Stevens.
