2004: Lindsay Wisdom-Hylton
Not a good week for Neuqua Valley (16-7), who suffered their sixth and seventh losses of the season.
Neuqua Valley lost their seventh game of the season on Saturday to No. 7 Bolingbrook (20-1) by the score of 45-38. Wisdom-Hylton had 13 points, 10 rebounds and five blocked shots. Eight of her points came in the final quarter of play.
Wisdom-Hylton missed what would have been the shot to send the game into overtime last Thursday as Neuqua Valley lost to St. Charles East, 55-52. Aperimter shot with 9.2 seconds raised her scoring for the game to 27, but a last second shot came up short. She also had 13 rebounds and four blocked shots.
2004: Tye Jackson
Westfield doubled-up on Klein Collins HS, 53-25. In a very low scoring and balanced game, Jackson led all scorers with nine points.
2004: Brina Pollack
Pollack and teammate Chakhia Cole shared game-high honors with 16 points each in a 58-33 romp of Ocean in conference action. Marlboro is now 12-1 and ranks 8th in the recent New Jersey high school power poll.
Last weekend, Marlboro defeated Peddie 65-57 behind Cole's 19 and Pollack's 18 points. Peddie was led by 6-foot-3 center Crystal Goring, who is the sister of former Purdue target Gillian Goring.
