Xavier Price running second for three-peat scoring crown

For the past two years, Xavier Price has won the scoring crown in the very competitive Southwest Conference. As a matter of fact, no player in 20 years has managed to average more than 20 points per game in the conference. After averging 18.9 points and 18.0 points the past two seasons, Xavier currently averages 17.3 points, behind Belleville West teammate Arthur Sargent at 17.8.

The list is provided only to see where Purdue might have a little bit of an upper hand in pitching the aspects of life at Purdue, from the personal experiences of their high school coach.
