Lakisha Freeman scored a game-high 17 points in a 70-49 win over conference rival Flint Central. Arthur Hill won its 11th straight game and improved its record to 12-1.
Arthur Hill expanded on a 13-point halftime lead by shooting 51-percent for the game. All of Lakisha's points came from inside the arc, and she was a perfect 1-of-1 from the freethrow line. Following the game, Flint Central head coach Thomas Tucker said of the Purdue recruit, "Freeman is maybe the best big girl in the state."
On Tuesday, Arthur Hill was rewarded by the Associated Press when they moved the Lumberjacks into 3rd on the Class A poll, just two votes short of 2nd. Flint Northern remains unbeaten at No. 1, followed by fellow unbeaten Detroit King.
