The River Forest newspaper, Forest Leaves, has Caprice Smith's final list at seven programs. Purdue, Iowa, DePaul, Minnesota, Kansas State, Maryland and Notre Dame are among the schools Smith will choose from when she expects to take all five official visits beginning the fall semester.
Back in October of 2002, Smith responded with a list of schools that included Alabama, DePaul, Duke, Georgia, Iowa, Maryland, Purdue and Vanderbilt. Purdue, Iowa, DePaul and Maryland have been constants on her list of favorites. Former Trinity teammate Ciara (pronounced "Sierra") Johnson, a 5'9 guard, will be a freshman at DePaul during the 2003-04 season.
