Parker's coach mentions PurdueAccording to Naperville Central head coach Andy Nussbaum, Candace Parker is being heavily recruited by Duke, Tennessee, Connecticut, Florida, and Purdue, plus maybe a dozen additional schools. The Parker's continue to be secretive about any favorites Candace may have among the many schools she, and others continue to mention.
Don't count out Williams
A source tells us that the staff is very impressed with Niles North post Natasha Williams. The 6'3 junior was gaining confidence at the later part of the season, after the Niles North coaching staff forced her to rework her shooting motion. She finished the regular season by scoring a career-high 37 points.
Niles North was beaten in the regional final game by Regina Dominican, a team that has advanced to the IHSA Final Four on Saturday. Williams scored 17 points, the only Niles player to hit double-digits.
