According to Hazelwood East (MO) coach Terry Creamer, Purdue is showing interest in 6'3 senior center Krystle Hatton.
Hatton is a defensive stopper for Hazelwood East, and also leads the team in scoring and rebounding. Hatton is averaging 16.1 points, 12.7 rebounds and 3.1 blocks per game, but it is her defensive game that makes her an interesting late signing period target. Hatton is reported to have the foot speed to be assigned guards defensively.
As a junior, Hatton averaged 12.2 points and 12.5 rebounds. She carries a 3.7 gpa.
Hatton is also being recruited by St. Louis, Missouri, Wichita State, Southeast Missouri, Southwest Missouri, Kent State, and Marquette. Her preference is for a program that will give her an opportunity to contribute as a freshman, as she does not wish to redshirt.
