Audrey Duncan has a career night

Audrey Duncan, the younger sister of Purdue Carol Duncan, had a career night last week in a win against South Bend Clay. The 5'11 sophomore scored 31 points and grabbed 18 rebounds for NorthWood (11-9).

Audrey finished the regular season last Friday with a 21 points, 10 rebound game against Concord. Duncan had been averaging just over 10 points a game before finishing the season with two very strong performances.

NorthWood begins sectional play tonight at 7:30pm.

    Purdue scouts Warsaw junior

According to the Elkhart Truth, "scouts" from Purdue showed up to take a look at Warsaw junior Jaclyn Leininger last week. Also in the gym were representatives from Michigan State and Ball State. Leininger responded with 25 points and eight rebounds in three quarters of play as the sixth-ranked Tigers cruised to a perfect 7-0 conference record with a 84-51 victory.

Leininger, a 6'0 junior, currently ranks 25th in the state in scoring with a 20.4 per game average. A part of her game that may be more prized is her defense.

Warsaw beat Dekalb in the first round of sectionals, and will face Fort Wayne Carroll tonight.

Cremeans takes another look at Sparkle Davis

Purdue assistant Kerry Cremeans was in Georgia at the beginning of the month to scout junior Sparkle Davis.
