Paul Long, a 6-foot-1 177-pound defensive back from Dayton Ohio, is the latest player to give coach Joe Tiller an oral commitment. The two way player is projected on defense in college, possessing 4.5 speed.
Long played defensive back and safety for Meadowdale's 4-3 defense. He also played wide receiver on offense, averaging 21.0 yards per catch. He also had five interceptions on defense for 5-5 Meadowdale.
Long was recently named to the All-Ohio Division II first team by the Associated Press, after being named all-area first team on both defense and offense by the Dayton Daily News.
