Tonight is the start of practice for the 98-99 Boilermakers. Mackey Magic will begin at 11:00pm (doors open at 10:30pm), with the teams taking the floor at midnight for a scrimmage. The United Way will be taking a collection outside of Mackey this year, but the event is still free to the public. As I understand, it will be a monetary collection if you care to make a contribution to the United Way when you visit. According to the J&C, add frequent Mackey Magic visitor Austin Parkinson to the list of prospects in attendance (plus Zach Randolph, John Hamilton, Ricky Wright and others).
