5'7 rising senior point guard April McDivitt from Connersville High has verballed to Tennessee. McDivitt is ranked as the #1 player in Indiana by most recruiting services, just ahead of Kennitra Johnson of New Albany. It is a possibility that Tennessee could double-dip in the state of Indiana and offer Johnson a scholarship to play the 2-guard for the Vols. McDivitt chose the Vols over Indiana, NC State, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Arizona and Alabama.
