Two Big Ten teams have recently lost incoming recruits to grades, both falling short on standardized tests. 6'5 Akron guard Doylan Robinson was projected to be good enough to immediately help Ohio State at either guard position this coming year, but will sit as either a prop48 or a partial qualifier depending on his combination of core GPA and test score. Robinson has stated he will still attend tOSU, and is the highest rated high schooler of coach O'Brien's first recruiting class (#108 Prep Stars). Illinois also loses their prize recruit, 6'4 point guard Frankie Williams of Peoria Central to grades. Williams will be a partial qualifier, and will be allowed to practice with the team next year. Williams is a concensus top 20 player.
