At the Nike Camp this week is 6'5 Plainfield shooter Gavin Groninger. He has now been offered by Indiana, Michigan State, Cincy, Xavier and NC State.
Northwestern update...Ten of the eleven teams in the Big Ten now have recruiting sites online, now that Purple Haze (Northwestern) has appeared online. Now if we can only get someone from Wisconsin to start a site. Northwestern has recently received verbals from two rising-senior big men, both from Iowa. Aaron Jennings is a 6'10 post player from Van Horne, IA. 6'9 Adam Robinson from Cedar Falls is a forward who averaged 14 points and 4 blocks last year. Both are being recruited on potential. Coach O'Neill has reportedly withdrawn a scholarship offer to 6'10 Brian Weber due to academic related issues.
Remember the name Dave Schellhase, Purdue 64, 65 and 66? He is now coaching at Moorhead State University and has revisited Indiana to sign 5'10 Frankfort guard Eric Echelbarger. Echelbarger averaged 14 points and 5.6 assists as a senior for the Hot Dogs.
