Hoop Scoop is reporting that 6'4 Bernard King of Gibsland, Louisianna has Purdue among his list. He reportedly has grown three inches in the past year, but remains a strong floor leader. Purdue assistant Jay Price during an alumni function in Kokomo a few weeks ago said Purdue is looking at other point guards in the Class of 99 in case the player they have offered a scholarship to goes elsewhere.
It looks like Greenfield Central's 6'4 Josh Mullins is getting some attention from Steve Alford at SW Missouri State. Mullins plays on the same AAU team as fellow high school teammate John Hamilton, Spiece North 17.
