Izzo's Michigan State Spartans have received a verbal from Ohio junior 6'10 Jason Andreas from Sugarcreek HS. Andreas is rated in the 100-150 range, but has had the luxury of playing with some high profile national prospects, not limited to Top 10 players Jason Kapono (Lakewood Artesia, CA) and Lonnie Baxter (Hargrave Prep), and Top 50 players Ricky Anderson (Long Beach Poly, CA) and Rodney Tucker (Stone Mountain, GA).
Andreas was scheduled to play for Columbus Basketball Club AAU at the West Lafayette Spiece tournament and was on the roster, but didn't make it to the tournament.
