It is so far, so good for Cameron Stephens and Jamaal Davis. Bruce Weber was quoted in the Journal and Courier saying they both made it past the first semester hurdle. He also noted that the two Prop48s were "frustrated" at not being able to be around the team.
Two stories of recruiting interest this week in the Chicago Sun-Times. Chicago Leo officials have sent out a warning to the Chicago Public schools...stop recruiting our 6'9 sophomore center. Andre Brown's parents asked the school to say something after their family began receiving calls late into the evening. Brown has indicated he wants to stay at Leo. Another transfer that will happen involves 5'11 junior point guard Emmanuel Dildy, formerly of Mount Carmel IL. Citing "philosophical differences", he will transfer to Chicago King and be eligible to play in the 98-99 season.
