Carolyn Peck and the newly reorganized womens staff continue to heavily recruit the nation's elite. Purdue was taking a hard look at the state of Minnesota's top player, Minneapolis North forward Tamara Moore, but has since stopped recruiting her. The staff continues to court what could be the nation's top player, Dayton Chaminade High's Tamika Williams. Blue Star recruiting's Mike Flynn calls this gifted small forward the #1 player in the nation after the summer camps. The staff is also rumored to be chasing a forward in Kentucky.
