Football recruit and basketball all-star Rylan Hainje reportedly waited 45 minutes outside the last John Purdue Club picnic in Indianapolis to get the opportunity to talk to football coaches Tiller and Chaney. During NCAA "quiet" periods, coaches may speak with recruits if the recruit initiates the contact. Some sources are saying Hainje will verbal soon to play football for Purdue, and will likely try to walk-on the basketball team. That would add a very strong 6'5 forward into the mix.
