A member of the PAC10 All-Freshman team last year may be considering a transfer to Purdue and the name should be easily recognized. Carson Cunningham, former Andrean high school standout and Indiana All-Star, might be considering a transfer to Purdue. Cunningham started all but one game last year for Oregon State and averaged 14.9 points. He has asked for and received a release from his scholarship and could be eligible for the 98-99 season. Since a release was granted by Oregon State, he will have three years of eligibility remaining at the school he transfers. A final decision whether to transfer will be made after the end of classes in May.
Al Skinner from Rhode Island was named the new coach at Boston College yesterday.
