Nell Fortner's first recruiting class is ranked between #2 and #5 in the country by most recruiting magazines. The consensus #1 is Tennessee, but Purdue could be a solid #2 if they are able to sign another player in the spring to add to the team's depth. Stephanie White's and Ukari Figgs' freshman class of 1995 (also including Alison Edgar and Summer Erb) was the last Purdue recruiting class to rank nationally in the top 5.
