Due to the first day of official practice falling on a weeknight this year, the Purdue Midnight Madness scrimmage will be held on Saturday evening, October 19 at 10:30pm. The scrimmage will be open to the public and will coincide with Purdue's homecoming weekend. Almost all of Indiana's major colleges have also chosen to move their midnight scrimmages due to the 15th falling on a weeknight. If you are still itching to see basketball on the 15th, word has it Indiana State will be practicing just after midnight on the 15th. Midnight on October 15th is the first day a team is able to hold organized practice according to NCAA guidelines.
