As the home visitation period comes to an end, word is the Purdue coaches have been very busy, especially in recruiting a center.
Both TJ McKenzie and Cornelius Williams had home visits, and TJ McKenzie recently paid a visit to the Purdue campus. Williams likes the Big10 and plans on majoring in Chemistry, a program that Purdue ranks in the top 3 nationally. Williams is also rumored to make an official visit to the Purdue campus during the weekend of Midnight Magic.
Purdue also paid a visit to Ryan Hogan in an attempt to nab a backup for Chad Austin and Jaraan Cornell. Kentucky has always been favored by Hogan, and following a home visit by Rick Pitino he verballed to the Wildcats.
The coaching staff also visited Cameron Stephens and Jamaal Davis.
Sources also say the coaches visited the state of Georgia, but this could have been confused with the Alabama visit to see Williams. The coaches have also been busy this month in Peoria Illinois.
