Bowling Green coach Gregg Brandon: "Our championship-caliber kids will rise [to the occasion]," Brandon said. "What I’m hoping is our back-up kids show up - that’s the key. Our starters on both sides of the ball will play. But the guys who come in to spell them a little bit, those are the guys who can’t get caught looking at the bright lights or get intimidated."
Bowling Green QB Josh Harris: "If everybody does their job, our offense will be successful," Harris said. "I don’t try to put too much pressure on myself, because my job isn’t any more important than anybody else’s job. If the line’s not blocking, we’re not going to be able to run the ball or pass the ball. If guys aren’t catching it, it doesn’t matter how good of a throw it is."
On a side note: IU, Purdue fans surf for sports
Some interesting numbers, from both the Purdue and Indiana side of the web, were posted today on the IndyStar.com website. It would have been very interesting to see how the FREE side of the web is doing and how OldGoldFreePress.com compares. . . . . . Thanks to Selco, Engineering we are able to compete, rather nicely, with the other college sports sites on the Internet. I will confirm, right now, that we are comfortably near the top of the pack, in terms of visitors and pageviews.
