Memorial ran out to a 22-9 lead after one quarter, but Pike used full court pressure to take the game in a 69-63 win. Malone led Memorial with 18 points.

Memorial traveled to the Twin Lakes Holiday Tournament and came away with a 2-1 record and wins over Greencastle and Rochester. Malone had a game-high 21 in a 73-23 win over Greencastle, playing only three of four quarters. Malone returned with a 19 point, six steal, six turnover and four assist performance against Western, but Memorial squandered a seven-point lead in the final three minutes as Western went on a 11-0 run to win 60-56. In the consolation game, Memorial won easily over Rochester behind Malone's 13 points.

Three consecutive threes at the beginning of the third quarter, one from Malone, helped Memorial on an 11-0 run to dash the hopes of the home team. FahKara had a critical steal, and then hit two freethrows with 36 seconds remaining to help Memorial win on the road at Evansville Central, 56-52. Malone was 8-of-12 from the field and scored a game-high 23 points.

Malone was 4-of-5 from the perimeter for 21 points in a 62-32 win over Boonville.

Memorial improved to 11-2 on the season with a 70-38 win over Reitz in the first game of the Old National SIAC Girls Tournament. Malone played just under 20 minutes, but had 14 points and five steals.

In game two of the SAIC tournament, Memorial faced a rematch with Evansville Central, a team they beat just eight games earlier. Malone credited a team effort for the 81-79 overtime win, but was instrumental in forcing overtime and later in winning the game. With 38 seconds remaining in regulation, Malone stole an inbounds pass, drove toward the basket to make a layup and draw a foul. She hit the resulting freethrow to tie the game, and Central could not get their last second shot off to avoid overtime. In the overtime period, Malone again stole an inbounds pass with 16 seconds left, drove to the basket with one second showing and drew the foul with the game tied at 79-79. Malone hit both for the win. FahKara finished the game with 34 points, six coming in overtime.

The third loss of the season for Memorial came at the hands of Class 4A No. 12 Castle in the final game of the SIAC Tournament. Castle held every Memorial player in single-digit scoring, using a 1-2-2 half-court trap. Malone and Kari Stieler topped Memorial with nine points each.

Following the SIAC Tournament, Memorial bounced back to win two over local teams. Malone scored 25 points in a 74-56 win over Mater Dei, and 19 points in a 63-60 win over Bosse.

    Memorial's record stands at 14-3.
