    Next Game: IHSAA Class 3A State Final, Saturday March 8, 6:30pm, Conseco Fieldhouse.
    Katie hit three freethrows with no time left on the clock to send their semifinal game against North Harrison in overtime on Saturday, missed the winning basket to keep the game from going into a second overtime, then hit four freethrows to secure the lead and the win at the end of the second overtime period. Beech Grove (27-1) defeated North Harrison 81-76 behind a career high 46 points from Gearlds. She finished 13-of-26 (.500) from the floor, 5-of-12 (.417) from the perimeter, and 15-18 (.833) from the line. Beech Grove will play No. 13 South Bend St. Joseph's (24-2) on Saturday, who advanced by beating No. 6 Highland 35-26 in a down-tempo, defensive battle.

    Next Game: Los Angeles City Finals, Saturday March 8, 7:00pm, Los Angeles Forum.
    Narbonne has returned to to the City Finals where they will play Sylmar. Narbonne advanced by beating Chatsworth (20-7), a team they have faced in the city tournament for three of the past four years, and a team Narbonne beat in the finals last season. On Friday, Narbonne defeated Chatsworth 77-43 behind 19 points from both Camille LeNoir and Indi Johnson. Johnson also added 11 rebounds. Narbonne will play third-seed Sylmar, who advanced by beating two-seed Carson, 61-29.

    Next Game: Class AA Supersectionals, Monday March 3, 7:30pm, St. Xavier University.
    No. 2 Fenwick (31-2) defeated Marshall 68-55 behind Erin's 19 points and 10 rebounds on Friday. Fenwick moves on to a Class AA Supersectional (state quarterfinals) matchup with Mother McAuley (19-14), a team that put the Friars out of the tournament last year in the sectional final game. The winner moves on the the state semifinals on Friday at 1:45pm.
